Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day and it was
absolutely perfect for Angela and Swahili’s engagement shoot at the
MendelssohnPerforming Arts Center.
The beautiful
stained glass windows, sweeping staircases and dramatic ceilings were an
excellent backdrop for this wonderful couple. The building offered a variety of
options for pictures, some with bright natural light, others dramatic shadows
and even more with sweeping grand views.
In fact, there were so many options (hallways and rooms) that it can be
easy to get turned around in there.
Well, to be fair I got turned around---Brenton—my human compass---keeps
me straight on where we are going, where the car is, all that good stuff

were great and let us take advantage of as many photo ops as we could

We are very much looking forward to Angela and Swahili's wedding in June at the
Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville WI.
Many thanks to Ellen from the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center for coming in on a Sunday for our engagement shoot.
Enjoy a look into the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center and a sneak peek at one of the couples lovely pictures.
**we ended the shoot outside---or so we thought J We got invited into another BEAUTIFUL location nearby. Stay tuned for details on that happy accident J
