Emily and Nate Engaged in Lake Geneva --- by Peer Canvas
Emily and Nate are getting married in just a couple weeks
and will be the first wedding hosted at Dry Creek Estate. To say that Brenton and I are excited for
them would be an understatement. This
couple’s growing family is so sweet and it will be a privilege to photograph.
For Emily and Nate's engagement session, we went back to the
place where Nate proposed -- Lake Geneva.
He popped the question over a romantic carriage ride through downtown
Lake Geneva. How completely perfect to
ride along the picturesque streets of downtown Lake Geneva then step out for a
walk along the beach to soak in the sunset.
It was too beautiful not to go back to this very place for their
engagement photo session. The sandy
beachfront and extending boat docks were great for strolling around hugging and
kissing for pictures J and the fountain in front of the Riviera Grande is just exquisite.
Brenton and I made an afternoon of walking along the piers
and lounging barefoot in the sand while we were in Lake Geneva for the photo
shoot. It was a marvelously perfect day.
I am also happy to say that our dearly talented friend
Deborah Villanueva is making Emily’s wedding dress!! I have seen a few pictures of the progress
and cannot wait to see the bride in it J No spoilers from me on what any of it looks
like.
At the wedding venue, Dry Creek Estate, they are all a buzz
and putting up finishing touches. It is going to
be absolutely grand. The winery is going
to be a step into Napa Valley right here in the stateline area.
For a quick look at Dry Creek check out another video we shot there featuring one of Deborah Villanueva's dresses HERE. Little side note, in the outtakes at the end---at 2:30 That is me and Emily on a fourwheeler :)
Enjoy a little video from our day in Lake Geneva!
Congratulations Emily and Nate!!
