Beloit Ironworks Winter Wedding | Amber + Jesus by Peer Canvas Photography & Films

Amber and Jesus had an incredibly happy wedding celebration at the Ironworks Hotel in Beloit, WI.  Not many people choose March in Wisconsin to say "I do" but these two had an absolutely fabulous day.  Be sure to scroll to the bottom for a slideshow with even more pictures :)  Video coming soon!!

Our morning started with the guys.. Doesn't he make a handsome groom?  Making that tux look good :)

Amber got a gorgeous wedding dress from Vera's House of Bridals.

The ladies from Indira Salon Spa did a fabulous job on hair and makeup.

Looks like everything is just starting to sink in..  Love the morning light on the bride's face.

We stepped into the bar area at Merrill and Houston's inside of the Ironworks Hotel for a few portraits with just the bride and groom.

It was pure magic in March when we stepped out for the last few moments on sunlight along the riverwalk of the Rock River.

Sunset was fleeting but I am so glad we were able to step outside for a few moments for fun and pictures--and video.. we got video coming for these guys!!

Dedicated dance floor selfie (Velfie? since it was video)  These guys were ready to celebrate with the newlyweds.

 

We ended the evening with a few moments off the back patio at the Ironworks Hotel.  We walked down the path to where we overlooked the gorgeous lights of the Spine outside of the Irontek Building---which happens to be where our office is located.  Love our little town of Beloit.

Downtown Beloit Winter Wedding | Kayla + Tyler by Peer Canvas Photography & Films

Kayla and Tyler had a gorgeous winter wonderland wedding, right here in downtown Beloit, WI.  We couldn't have asked for a more picturesque snowfall for their Big Day.  Kayla looked amazing in her dress from Vera's House of Brides.  Tyler looked handsome has he and the guys got ready at the Ironworks Hotel.  They exchanged their vows at St. Jude's Catholic church surrounded by family and friends.  The group all made a pit stop at Tilley's before heading to the reception at La Casa Grande.

Kilbuck Creek Wedding | Jennifer + Kevin

Jennifer and Kevin are two incredibly sweet people who recently said "I do" at Kilbuck Creek in Monroe Center, IL.  Jennifer wore a beautiful gown from Sara Grace.  The dress had an allusion back with crystal buttons that looked amazing.  They had originally planned for an outdoor ceremony, but the weather had other plans.  They ended up having an indoor ceremony in the reception area and it turned out wonderful.  As the ceremony ended, the clouds parted and we still were able to make our way outside for a few pictures.

Over the Vines Rustic Outdoor Wisconsin Wedding | Lauren + Thore

Waupun Wedding | Megan + Adam

Can you believe it?? Brenton and I were back in Waupun WI again this weekend to celebrate with many familiar faces again :)  This time it was Megan and Adam's turn to say "I do" and they did in in fashion at the Derksen family barn.  Megan put together a gorgeous wedding with the ladies in gold sequin gowns.  They looked amazing---as did the bride.

The ladies gathered at LeAnna's house in the morning, and I have to say that we were all smiles when we stepped into her house.  We were happy to be back, and even happier to see her house filled with pictures from the original Waupun wedding that we photographed.

Megan, her mom, and all the ladies were so much fun.  Everyone was happy for Megan's wedding day to be here.  She looked beautiful and the weather was looking good as well.

We met up with the guys at the barn where Megan and Adam had their first-look.  It was a sweet moment that was shared with family and friends.

The ground was a little soft, so many of the ladies kicked off their shoes for the group pics.  They still looked amazing though :)

We headed off with the couple for pictures at a few other spots.  We know whenever we are in Waupun, the group will have great ideas for spots to go for pictures---and Megan and Adam did not disappoint. We headed out to a spot with a white fence---sounds weird---but it was an excellent choice.

Then we made an unplanned stop at their apartment to pick up their marriage license.  We had to get a quick shot at on their porch.  I love the idea of that picture hanging in their home someday---the little apartment they had when they got married.

They we stopped by the park right by their apartment.  It was a beautiful place for pictures with the happy couple.

We headed back to the Derksen family barn for family pictures before the ceremony.

This time it was the ceremony in the barn, rather than the reception.  It was a beautiful ceremony.

The only time it rained that day was in between the ceremony and reception.  Thankfully we were done with most of the outdoor pictures---but everyone sure scampered to their cars quick---including us.

The rain let up by the time we arrived at the reception.  Guests could mingle outside, downstairs by the bar,  or upstairs in the formal reception area.  The wedding party had fun decorating the newlyweds car.

Congratulations Megan and Adam!!  Brenton and I were so happy to be a part of your big day and happy to see everyone again up in Waupun.  When is the next wedding??? :)

DC Estate Winery Billboard with one of our pictures :)

Brenton and I were on the way back from an engagement shoot in Madison, when we spotted one of our pictures up on a billboard.  How cool is that ?!?  Naturally we had to stop to take a picture :)

White Pines Canyon Cliffbreakers Wedding | Haley + Mitch

Many Congratulations to Haley and Mitch!  They were married at White Pines Inn Canyon and it was absolutely gorgeous.  They continued the celebration with family and friends at Cliffbreakers in Rockford, IL.  Mitch may have had one of the most touching groom reactions when he saw Haley walk down the isle that we have ever seen :)  Amidst all the fun and jokes, it was obvious how much these two love each other.  Congratulations again, and thank you for letting us be a part of your big day.

The ladies gathered at the bride's parent's house while Sanctuary Salon and Spa took care of hair and makeup.

We headed out for White Pines where Haley put on her gown and looked just gorgeous.

The Spring colors were just perfect as they exchanged their vows.

Eagle Ridge Resort Spring Wedding | Michelle + Kyle

Michelle and Kyle had their fabulous wedding at the Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, IL.  We laughed, we cried, we had an amazing time.  Michelle looked gorgeous and Kyle was looking sharp.  The ladies were popping in their raspberry dresses and the guys were styling in their gray suits.

Brenton and I are so happy for you both and your growing family!  Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your wedding----I can't wait for the video!!!---but for now, here are a few of our favorite pictures :)


Kyle looked handsome and so excited for the day to finally be here.  Just look at that smile :)

There were happy moments and some sad...  The blue heart on the back of Michelle's dress and the charm on her flowers were in remembrance of her father.  I can't help but feel lucky that my father is still here and was able to walk me down the isle.

Michelle looked absolutely stunning.  I loved the bright pink dresses on the bridesmaids as well.

The outdoor ceremony site at Eagle Ridge Resort.  It was a bit chilly, so they set up the tent and heaters.  It was still gorgeous.

Michelle's son escorted her down the isle.  It was happy and yet pulled at your heart.

How beautiful is their growing family!

We headed to the waterfall for some fun with the wedding party.

These two are so sweet together.  Aren't they doing an amazing job of looking warm?

We headed out to the golf course for a few more pictures and fun.

And it is time to celebrate.  Ted from Luxe Productions did an amazing job.  He kept the the party on its feet and having a great time.

The sun was setting as they had their first dance as husband and wife.

There was not a dry eye in the house as Hayden danced with Michelle in place of her father----then the waterworks continued as she had an amazing mother daughter dance as well.  I am SOOOOO glad that they have a video coming from us as well.  I have peeked at the footage and it is amazing.  I cannot wait to share some amazing moments from this wedding.

Did I mention that they got a video coming from us??  Because the pictures do not capture just how fantastic Kyle's cowboy routine was when retrieving the garter.  I am hand-clappy happy for their vido :) :) so so so many great moments.

There was the dougie, stanky leg, worm----the celebration was fantastic.

Even the parents were busting a move on the dance floor.  So happy for these guys!!

We popped outside for a few last moments at the end of the night.  Love the romantic night pictures.

Congratulations you two!!!  Brenton and I are so happy for you both!!! and are PUMPED about your video!!! It can't be done soon enough.  There are so many great moments to share :)
