IronWorks Hotel and Merrill and Houston's Inaugural Bridal Open House

The Inaugural Bridal Open House was a hit!  It was put on by the Ironworks Hotel and Merrill and Houston's Steak Joint.  Many thanks to Cori Currey and the rest of the wonderful staff from Merrill and Houston's for all of your hard work to make the day happen.  Bride's were given the VIP treatment with mimosas, beer, carving station and more.  The already beautiful decor of the hotel was enhanced with gorgeous displays from Ana of Beautiful Day Linens.  We met some new faces, and connected with familiar ones as well.  In case you missed it----here are a few pictures from the day :)

Check out the AMAZING light up LOVE sign!! LOVE IT!!  Want it at your wedding?? Of course you do---contact Christa from Something Borrowed for more information.

We sampled some of the chocolate covered strawberries----delicious

I love a classic romantic color pallete of blush and gold.  Check out the beautiful lace runner from Beautiful Day Linens.  Ana does such a wonderful job to bring your vision to life with gorgeous textures and colors.  Love the finishing touch of a fancy napkin fold as well :)

Merrill and Houston's knows how to treat their guests.  Mimosas and beers with refreshments were offered with a smile.  It is always a pleasure to be welcomed every time we go to Merrill and Houston's.

I know we have some elegant weddings coming up this winter that will be in rich black and red. Check out  these great ways to decorate your reception.  Unique twist on the flowers by Blooming Art Floral.

Tasty desserts and beautiful cake by Cakes by Sheila.

Rock Vegas Events get the tunes going, and ladies happy by playing all their requests.

Last but not least----We were there too!!  Emails going out for the winner of the drawing :)

It is great to have events like this right here in our home town of Beloit.  Beloit is a great small town, and it doesn't take long to find a connection with the people we meet.  I love it when people recognize the faces in our pictures and smile even bigger when they see them in the video display.  It was great to see our friend Jayme from Merrill and Houston's.

Thank you again to all the people that helped make the day happen!! Can't wait to do it again next year --- and all the weddings in between :)
