Our morning started with the guys.. Doesn't he make a handsome groom? Making that tux look good :)

Looks like everything is just starting to sink in.. Love the morning light on the bride's face.

Amber looks amazing---and ready to meet her groom.
Love these sweet moments during the first-look.
We stepped into the bar area at Merrill and Houston's inside of the Ironworks Hotel for a few portraits with just the bride and groom.
How sweet are these two.
The ring bearer and flower girl were a couple of cuties
Love the room set up for the reception at the Ironworks Hotel.

It was pure magic in March when we stepped out for the last few moments on sunlight along the riverwalk of the Rock River.
Sunset was fleeting but I am so glad we were able to step outside for a few moments for fun and pictures--and video.. we got video coming for these guys!!

The guys had superhero tie clips and cufflinks. The ladies got beautiful robes. It was a day filled with happiness and love for the newlyweds. It is hard not to tear up looking through the pictures and seeing all the ways that Julie's sister was remembered. The toasts didn't leave a dry eye in the house...

Beloit Club Wedding | Hailee + Adam
We are so excited to share Hailee and Adam's wedding!! They were married in August at the Beloit Club in Beloit, WI. These two are such wonderful people---and Brenton and I loved that we got to see so many familiar faces from our days at Brother Dutton. Just to mention a few names from Brother Dutton...Father Bill was the priest at their ceremony at O.L.A., Mrs. Splan gave one of the readings, and Mrs. C even played the piano. At one point in the ceremony, Father Bill asked everyone to stand who had a connection with Brother Dutton and there were so many smiling faces that stood up.
We couldn't have asked for a better day. It had it all---bubble exit, zipping around on golf carts, cocktail hour on the patio overlooking the beautiful grounds, speeches that brought smiles and tears, dancing well into the evening, and two love birds starting the beginning of their forever.
VIDEO COMING SOON!!!
For now, enjoy the pictures and slideshow at the bottom :)
Thank you Hailee and Adam for letting us be a part of your amazing day!!

Waupun Wedding | Megan + Adam
Can you believe it?? Brenton and I were back in Waupun WI again this weekend to celebrate with many familiar faces again :) This time it was Megan and Adam's turn to say "I do" and they did in in fashion at the Derksen family barn. Megan put together a gorgeous wedding with the ladies in gold sequin gowns. They looked amazing---as did the bride.
The ladies gathered at LeAnna's house in the morning, and I have to say that we were all smiles when we stepped into her house. We were happy to be back, and even happier to see her house filled with pictures from the original Waupun wedding that we photographed.
Megan, her mom, and all the ladies were so much fun. Everyone was happy for Megan's wedding day to be here. She looked beautiful and the weather was looking good as well.
We met up with the guys at the barn where Megan and Adam had their first-look. It was a sweet moment that was shared with family and friends.
The ground was a little soft, so many of the ladies kicked off their shoes for the group pics. They still looked amazing though :)
We headed off with the couple for pictures at a few other spots. We know whenever we are in Waupun, the group will have great ideas for spots to go for pictures---and Megan and Adam did not disappoint. We headed out to a spot with a white fence---sounds weird---but it was an excellent choice.
Then we made an unplanned stop at their apartment to pick up their marriage license. We had to get a quick shot at on their porch. I love the idea of that picture hanging in their home someday---the little apartment they had when they got married.
They we stopped by the park right by their apartment. It was a beautiful place for pictures with the happy couple.
We headed back to the Derksen family barn for family pictures before the ceremony.
This time it was the ceremony in the barn, rather than the reception. It was a beautiful ceremony.
The only time it rained that day was in between the ceremony and reception. Thankfully we were done with most of the outdoor pictures---but everyone sure scampered to their cars quick---including us.
The rain let up by the time we arrived at the reception. Guests could mingle outside, downstairs by the bar, or upstairs in the formal reception area. The wedding party had fun decorating the newlyweds car.
Congratulations Megan and Adam!! Brenton and I were so happy to be a part of your big day and happy to see everyone again up in Waupun. When is the next wedding??? :)
All the best!!
Enjoy the slideshow and thanks for watching!!
Grand Geneva Resort Wedding Lake Geneva WI | Haley + Josh
Haley and Josh were married this weekend at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva WI. It was a gorgeous day and Haley was a gorgeous bride. The Grand Geneva was an amazing backdrop for these two to start their journey together as husband and wife.
To anyone out there who is already married, or been in a wedding, you know---there are always a few hitches---to getting hitched :) For Haley and Josh---we were missing the groom's suit. Don't get too worried, his suit did get rushed there in time for the ceremony, but we made the most of it with a few casual pictures with the guys that morning.
We made our way over to the ladies and Haley was anxious to get the day started. The trees were blooming just outside her room, so we had to take advantage of the gorgeous scenery.
Who doesn't wish they were born with those amazing lashes?!? If you want these amazing lashes--see Brittney and Indira Salon in Janesville.
Love the moment when the bride's mother and bridesmaids see Haley for the first time. Their reaction is priceless.
Haley and Josh share a moment together before the ceremony where they didn't actually see each other. They exchanged letters under the gorgeous flowering trees.
The ceremony space overlooked the water and had a sweeping view of the golf course. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Haley was beaming as she came down the isle.
How amazing is that view where they said I DO :)
There were so many beautiful places around the grounds of the resort. We blew bubbles by the fountain, we hopped on the trolly and even zipped around on an golf cart.
The absolute joy was wonderful to see. Love the Trolly too :)
And off with the newlyweds.. So sweet.
What a perfect spring day with a field of tulips.
The reception was at the Mountain Top in the Chalet. The walls of windows let the sunset spill in as the speeches cake and dances took place.
This was the cake smash to end all cake smashes. They went all out---it was hilarious. It ended in a sugary kiss and then off to get cleaned up.
Love the sunset in the background of their first dances.
They danced into the night and enjoyed a few moments by the fire pit as well.
Congratulations Haley and Josh! All the best to your family and your future together :)
